This meticulously researched book documents the frequently overlooked British electronic pop revolution of the 70s/80s, a period of transformation, innovation and some of the most iconic records in pop history – many created in Sheffield.  Richard Evans has worked in the music industry for over thirty years including work with Andy Bell, Vince Clarke and Erasure.
