Sounds Around Write with Jay Mitra and Silé Sibanda

Sounds About Write’s open mic with guest performers.  Silé  Sibanda is a locally based spoken word performer, poet, BBC Radio presenter and creative producer for Storytrails – the untold stories of Sheffield people.  Jay Mitra is a punk poet and non fiction writer from Yorkshire. Their poetry has been published widely and they were selected as one of Apples and Snakes’ 40 Future Voices in Poetry. 

Then it’s your turn to take to share your words – poetry or prose – in the open mic. It doesn’t have to be polished and you don’t have to be perfect, You just need something you’d like to share and that sounds about right!
