Celebrate! A Decade and a half of And Other Stories

This year Sheffield based publisher And Other Stories was awarded the British Book Award for Small Press of the Year and became the first ever publisher to have two books consecutively win the premier award for literature in translation, the International Booker Prize (Heart Lamp by Banu Mushtaq (tr. Deepa Bhasthi) and Taiwan Travelogue by Yáng Shuāng-zǐ (tr. Lin King).

Based out of Sheffield’s own Central Library, the publisher has been a vital part of the city’s vibrant cultural ecosystem now for fifteen years. Join them at a special Millennium Gallery Lates to celebrate a decade and a half of Northern publishing of the best writing from around the world with guests including award-winning Scottish poet Colin Bramwell, short story writer Karishma Jobanputra plus DJ, bar and much more!

This event will run from 7pm – 10pm
